HI, my name is Kali!
I'm an energetic spunky 2 year old pup that really tries to please. I like to give kisses and want to be around you and see what you’re doing all the time. I know how to sit for treats and will look up adoringly while waiting for my treat. I have such an angelic face if I do say so myself!
I get along with my 3 foster siblings, but of course I would need to meet any potential brothers or sisters of the canine variety. I can be a little overwhelming at times as I like to play and play and tire them out. They’re ready for a nap and I want to keep playing. I'm unsure about any feline friends, we may get along, but I would have to meet them and see.
I like to zoom in the back yard, and sniff around getting to know all the scents.
I would like to be your best friend and cuddle with you while you're watching TV or reading a book. I'm really a love bug. I really like my toys, and bones to chew on. Running around shaking them in my mouth and wanting to play tug of war with my foster siblings or foster mom.
Watch out for me when you're running the vacuum. I think it's a toy and want to play, I’ve nearly got swept up a few times. When it's time for bed, I settle down nicely till morning, and then I’m ready to go again.
Walking on a leash is hard for me as I think the leash is a toy and try to chew on it. I just want to wander all over and discover new things while I’m out too. But I’m working on it and think I’m getting a little better each time we go out walking along side my foster mom.
I'm really am such a silly, loveable girl, who is looking for a forever home of her own.

Pepper is 1 1/2 years old. She is a very high energy dog that will play as long as you throw the ball for her. My girlfriend and I both work from home, so she always thinks it's play time. If we don't play with her she tries to play with our older dog that recently had surgery on her back leg, and my girlfriend is worried that Pepper will accidentally hurt the other dog. She's not aggressive at all and never bites outside of play nibbling, but she just throws her body around like I've never seen a dog do before. We have a decent sized yard but Pepper could really use a big open space to really run around and catch her frisbee and ball. We've had her for over a year now, but I don't think we're the right home and family for her, and I just want to make sure she gets the family and attention she really deserves.

Tax’s owner lost his home and was going to drop him off at a shelter. I offered to take him to try to find him a home to keep him out of the shelter but I’ve been unsuccessful. He’s very loving and craves pets and tummy rubs. He’s potty trained and crate trained

Maverick is the definition of Velcro dog, he will follow you everywhere and doesn’t know personal space. He loves sticks and balls of all sizes and will chase them until you stop. Loves car rides and playing with other big dogs.
The reason Maverick needs a new home is that he doesn’t like small dogs, small kids (they are too busy for him). Has started showing aggression with small dog at home and 2 yr old son. Snaps at them, territorial.
Maverick will let you know strangers coming to the door, or cats (he thinks they are fun to chase).
NO KIDS, SMALL DOGS, OR CATS. MAVERICK IS LOCATED IN MILFORD AREA

He is a little wobbly but runs and plays with other dogs. He is very happy go lucky and playful. He is looking for someone who will love him back and understands he moves slow at times.

HI, my name is Willow! I am a Whippet/Terrier mix and I’m a little over a year old. I didn’t have the best start at life, I was emaciated and found my way to a shelter as part of a court case, but things are looking up for me. I’m a healthy weight now and looking to "nd my forever home. I would need an active family because I’m still young and excitable. My foster mom and dad say that I am the happiest dog they have met. I love to be around my foster family and even if they leave the room andcome right back it was like they were gone forever and I get excited to see them, my tail never stops wagging, which is why older children would be better because I may knock a younger child over. My favorite thing to do is play tug a war with my foster family, I will keep bringing anything to you to play it with me, a toy, a stu$ed animal, even a bone but I could play tug a war all day if you let me. I also like stu$ed toys, but you have to buy the cheap ones since I like to take out the stu%ng and squeakers out of them. When I’m not playing, I like to lay on the couch with myfoster family and be close to them and I always have to lay on my foster mom and snuggle with her. I currently have three feline foster siblings, so I do well with dog savvy cats. I have an older grumpy dog sibling who doesn’t like to play with me, andI am dog selective so I would prefer to be an only dog or with a submissive laid-backdog my size to play with, meet and greets are required. I am housebroken and cratetrained but my foster family doesn’t need to crate me.

Hello everyone, my official name is Toby-Wan Kenobi, but everyone calls me Toby dog. I’m not exactly sure what breeds I am or how old I am (best guess is terrier mix, 6-8 years old) because nobody really cared about me or took care of me when I was younger. You see, I lived in what my foster mom calls a “horrible hoarding situation” where I was forced to live in a crate 24/7! That all changed on August 1, 2020 (a day I will cherish forever) because that was the day that I (and over 20 other dogs) got our freedom ride.
When I got to my foster home my mom took me to a wonderful lady who shaved off all my filthy, nasty, disgusting fur which was matted and covered in stuff you don’t even want to think about! I felt (and smelled) so much better once I was groomed. Now I visit the nice groomer lady for a haircut and bath regularly, so I’m always clean and dapper.
Well, that was the easy stuff to fix about me. You see, because I was so isolated when young, I never developed appropriate behaviors towards dogs or humans. So, I guess you could say I have some mental health issues (don’t we all). My foster mom works with a special vet who has prescribed 3 different medications to help me cope with the world. Unfortunately, we now think that I am also diabetic, so I take a daily medication for that too, but I do well with taking all my meds (as long as they are hidden in cut-up hotdogs).
My biggest hang-up is that I don’t feel comfortable letting anyone touch me. Whenever someone tries to pet me, I always move away (I never bite). I don’t really know why, but I just can’t let myself be touched by anyone unless I take some special medications that really chill me out (for trips to the vet or groomers). Sometimes I can touch you if I want to, but you reaching out to me is a no-no. If you do accidentally touch me, I just sort of jump back and then move away (again, I never bite).
Since living with my foster family (2 adults, 2 cats, and lots of dogs) I have learned to tolerate other dogs and will lay near them, but I really don’t interact much with them. I enjoy roaming around the yard and I LOVE to chew on bones, antlers, and other appropriate dog stuff, but I don’t really do toys. I guess you would say I’m a pretty quiet, laid-back dude, but I always perk up for treats or food of any kind!
If you are serious about getting to know me better to possibly adopt me, please know it will be a step-by-step process to allow me time to get to know and trust you. My foster parents love me, and they promised me that I would NEVER AGAIN be failed so badly by humans.
Due to Toby's behaviors, he will not attend Petsmart adoption events. The Foster Mom is willing to meet outside of the Saturday adoption events at a time and place convenient to both parties once an application has been processed.
